Our manufacturing range of Partial Half Jacketed Plug Valves are Lubricating Type have Metal to Metal seats which suitable for high pressure and high temperature viscous, slurry, high density and sticky media service application.

Seating surface lubrication is achieved by the help of valve sealant injected through the valve stem centre. The sealant is routed past a non-return valve (ball type check valve) and subsequently distributed via an internal network grooves machined into plug, ensuring effective coverage of the mating surfaces. However we are trying to operate the Jacketed Plug Valve, a layer of lubricating sealant spread between seating surface area and valve operate smoothly.

The taper plug element is seated within a correspondingly tapered bore, generating a secure interference fit while still permitting fine positional adjustment to simultaneously ensure zero leakage and low operating torque. In the fully open configuration, the mating tapered interfaces between the plug and the valve body are isolated from direct contact with the process fluid, thereby mitigating degradation mechanisms such as corrosion and erosive wear to non-critical regions of the assembly. Furthermore, the valve incorporates a linear, unobstructed flow passage, resulting in minimum hydraulic resistance and negligible pressure drop across the device.

Half Jacketed Taper Plug Valves manufactured in sizes from 1" to 8", which mostly used in application where the medium freezes or solidifies at lower temperatures like bitumen, naphthalene, asphalt, coal tar, wax, polymer, resin, epoxy, adhesive, carbon, graphite, slurry etc.

Our product range also covers a Full Jacketed Plug Valve with Oversize flanges, flange size higher than bore size to get proper bolting clearance after full jacket welding at back side of flanges.
